What we do WOTR works across thirteen different areas, using applied research to help rural communities reduce their vulnerabilities to climatic and non-climatic risks. It organizes them in a socially and gender inclusive manner to help themselves out of poverty. Our impact As of December 2019, WOTR has worked in 3,540 villages impacting over 3.6 million people cumulatively since 1993. These figures cover projects in all its areas of implementation, training and capacity-building activities.
